Great things come out of being hungry and cold. Once you're pampered, you get lazy

Ice Ice Baby

Another entry from our guest editor - Jack Tavener!

We started at a car park high in the valley a long way from towns or cities. We then started to plod our way up Lord Herefords Knob.

All of the puddles were completely frosted and iced up and I massively enjoyed breaking all the iced up puddles whilst singing along to Ice Ice Baby. Once we reached the top of Lord Herefords Knob we quickly discovered that it was extremely cold almost beyond freezing.

Just on from Lord Herefords Knob was the lunch stop for me and Paul so as we walked we munched on our yummy sausage rolls! Then for the last stretch of our walk we did Offers Dyke leading up to Hay Bluff the path along this ridge was quite dull but we still managed to get some excellent views.

After that we came down the last path still jumping in those icy puddles all the way back to the car where it took us many hours to get home but it was definitely worth it!

Too cold for any pictures!
